SILOgraphic : Exchanges between the professionals of the Creation and the institutions (Fr), June, 8th 2007

The 8th of June, in the Technopole Izarbel Pays basque, in Bidart (France), aNTIC organized a meeting in view to continue the SILOgraphic project. This meeting has been the opportunity to assemble together professionals of the creative sector from the Basque Country and the Institutions representatives to exchange their views about the future of the industry.

SILOgraphic has been presented for the Contrat territorial « Pays Basque 2020 » negotiations (Fr), May 11th 2007

10th of May 2007, Manuel de Lara and Bernard Causse, Director and Managers of aNTIC pays basque have presented SILOgraphic Project to take part of the Territorial agreement « Pays Basque 2020 ». The board of examiners was composed of State representatives’ (SGAR Aquitaine, DRIRE, OSEO…), Regional (Conseil Régional d’Aquitaine) and Local (Conseil Général des Pyrénées-Atlantiques) administration representatives in charge of the economic development.

New electronic system to streamline conformity assessment process

A new electronic system for notifying conformity assessment bodies is now in place, replacing the paper-based procedures used over the past 20 years. Known as NANDO-Input (New Approach Notified and Designated Organisations), this system will reduce bureaucracy, considerably speed up the process for registering a new Notified Body and give Member States immediate access to an online database.

The Ecole d'art in Bayonne Anglet Biarritz has set up an environment of support for continuing professional development in the field of graphic communication that allows for on-the-job training on specialised professional practices of the sector. Six companies in the Basque country will test this environment.
